Majulah Stickapura x ScubaPunk

1819 takes a look at the special collaborators behind the Majulah Stickapura Enchanced Packs.

Special Collaborator //6 - SCUBAPUNK

Adventurous, Charismatic, Wicked, Free-spirited, Fun, Sexy and Purely Surviving on Oxygen.

This vibrant local apparel brand devotes itself in engineering tees, of high quality and comfort, with exciting street graphic-designs for scuba diving enthusiasts. It is your perfect wear for lounging in between dives and walking down the street leisurely with style. Each of the exclusive designs only has a limited edition of 360 prints. 360 is the brand’s magic figure as it renders a perfect and wholesome circle mathematically. And hence the people at Scubapunk believe that it celebrates and signifies the beauty and completion of a life cycle in nature like their creations.

Further, it embodies their commitment in diving and unique graphics creations continuously. Online shopping and overseas customization are also available.

Tony is a sweetheart for donating XX number of T-shirts for the tikum pack items pool. All that love displayed after reading about our movement and without meeting any of us (till tomorrow, that is)! We hereby take a bow (and perhaps a dive) and thank Tony for such incredible support. Love is in the air!

Majulah Stickapura x Concave Scream

1819 takes a look at the special collaborators behind the Majulah Stickapura Enchanced Packs.

Special Collaborator //5 - CONCAVE SCREAM

One of the ‘oldest’ bands in Singapore’s music scene, Concave Scream has been in continuous existence since 1994. Ultimately, the genesis of this well-regarded veteran outfit can be traced back to one fateful December day that year, when Sean and Pann, two friends who had known each other since junior college, decided to kick off a musical collaboration.

In its 12 years of existence, Concave Scream has been through numerous ups and downs. Yet their hopes and wishes remain deceptively straightforward, uncomplicated and crystal clear - that people should continue to support and believe in local music; and that local bands should strive to believe in themselves and just keep having a go at it. Thoughts that they so aptly embody.

Pann & Sean has kept us screaming for more and we are glad to have the veterans on our bandwagon and believing in the local party (Party, in the purest fun sense of the word. Not political party, though locally we are clouded by the recent elections furore.) Thanks, dudes. Now, if only the lucky keepers of the XX Horizons albums that Concave Scream has donated can resist napstering those fine, fine tunes.

We don't only support local, we support Original too.

Majulah Stickapura x Plushism

1819 takes a look at the special collaborators behind the Majulah Stickapura Enchanced Packs.

Special Collaborator//3 -Plushism
The PLUSHISM wonderer started her little sewing passion from her seamtress mother. Her journey for creating plushies went wilder ever since, landing her in PLUSHISM wonderland. Apart for her love for doodling and passion for sewing, she also enjoys meeting like minded pals. Everyone have a hidden child-like side in them. Adulthood, a fearful thing stole these precious thoughts away. Let PLUSHISM bring them back to you! Plushies love to listen and are your faithful huggable companions. They will never leave you alone.

All the PLUSHISM plushies are done with love and lots of time and effort. "I love what I do and I do what I love", says PLUSHISM wonderer. "PLUSHISM will bring a little something into your life." - If PLUSHISM can bring a litttle something into your life; we at 1819, is more than grateful that we didn't only get toys named after us.

We are happy to have Nico come to us with XX handmade plushies to bring the happiness quotient for the movement, notches higher.

Majulah Stickapura x LocalBrand

1819 takes a look at the special collaborators behind the Majulah Stickapura Enchanced Packs.

Special Collaborator//1 - LocalBrand

LocalBrand’s mission is to stimulate discourse about the local and Asian experience with t-shirts as our media platform of choice. All our tees’ designs and messages are conceived with relevant local / Asian social, political, and cultural issues in mind.

Never self-important and always self-aware, our design messages are a mix of humour, simple copy and restrained visuals.

To be clear, LocalBrand is not anti-authority nor are we pro-propaganda (although we absolutely adore alliteration); Our only socio-political aim is to promote the renewal of local and Asian pride.

Mr Localbrand or T, as he is affectionately known is the towkay or of this local hotshop. While teh at Mr Teh Tarik didn't quite happen with Agent A and Agent R a couple of weeks ago ... thanks thanks goes to T for the XX number of t-shirts that LocalBrand is contributing for Majulah Stickapura.

1819 #9

"1819" is not a man. It is neither a face nor a cool graphic. It is not about a man who found an island. It is a reminder. A reminder for a mentality. A mentality that comes from a special place in the heart. A place where we grew up from. We speak of this place, as "1819".
